Earl and Larry established E & L Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc in 1981. Earl retired in 1991 followed by Larry retiring in 2020. As third generation owner, Larry Jr is appreciative of the opportunity and excited for the future. Although ownership has changed, customer satisfaction will continue to be at the core of every decision made.
We are located in beautiful Hinckley, Ohio and equipped to handle commercial and residential services and installations. Our shop can design, fabricate and install custom sheet metal for commercial or residential customers. Our Service Department is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is staffed with factory-trained technicians that regularly attend educational seminars to constantly improve their knowledge.
We are an American Standard “Customer Care” dealer because we believe they are among the finest products available. We offer free estimates and load calculations (using Manual J or N). We will always recommend equipment based on your needs with no high-pressure sales tactics. We offer a variety of products that will heat, cool, clean, dehumidify and humidify the air in your home or building.

We recover it! - Prior to equipment recycling, E & L Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. properly recovers HCFCs (refrigerant gases) from existing refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment to help protect the ozone layer, and comply with the law.*
We recycle it! - After removing the old equipment from your home or business we don't just throw it out.
- Every ton of steel recycled saves 2,500 pounds of iron ore, 1,400 pounds of coal, and 120 pounds of limestone.
- Each year, steel recycling saves the energy equivalent to electrically power about one-fifth of the households in the United States (or about 18 million homes) for one year.
- Scrap recycling diverts 145 million tons of materials away from landfills.
